WHO WE ARE

Ebeneezer's Chapel reopened in 2011 as an Arts & Crafts Centre & Coffee Shop. It is based in Barmouth, an old fishing town on the shores of North West Wales where the Mawddach estaury feeds into the sea.

This old chapel now also contains a multi--cuisine Restaurant. We serve our Breakfasts all day from 9am until 5pm and main meals are available between 9am and 9:30pm. Bookings can be made in advance and if there are any allergies we need to be aware of in advance we appreciate the notice. Organic wines are available.

We are open between 9am and 10pm through the holidays and 9am to 5pm all year round. The multicultural Staff are friendly and will do their utmost to help you if you have any queries.

LOCATION

There are some beautiful towns nearby, such as Harlech with its splendid castle and Dolgellau, with its Quaker buildings. 25 miles away you can also visit Beddgelert - the famous town featured in the Welsh Mabinogion and Snowdon, the second highest Mountain in Britain.

Barmouth itself is a prime spot for walking and climbing, there are some fantastic trails to explore, such as Dinas Oleu, the Panorama walk and the Mawddach trail, fantastic for both biking and birdwatching.

Local Bed and Breakfasts, hotels are numerous and reasonably priced.

RESTAURANT

Please come and visit our Restaurant if you are in town. We have had a buzy Summer in 2012 and the Restaurant has often been full of visitors. Our food boasts traditional dishes from all over the world, including China, Jamaica, Wales, North India and Thailand. We now have a licence to serve alcohol with meals..

We are doing everything we can to support the Fair Trade cause and have started an organic greenhouse in 2012; also, we are trying out a range of organic wines and beers to be served with meals in the Restaurant.
